“There are thousands of ways to swing the golf club and we believe there is an efficient way for everybody but that is based on what your body can physically do.” – Titleist Performance Institute
Golf has now reached a point where we shouldn’t need convincing that better health and fitness can improve our game. Just like upgrading our clubs, we need to upgrade our bodies. Just like our golf game it doesn’t happen overnight. There is a gap between the player you are now and the player you want to be. The only way to fill that gap is by putting in the work, discipline and consistent pursuit of progression. Building a body that moves, feels and performs at it’s highest level, on and off the course.
Whether you are looking to play pain free, get stronger, hit the ball further or looking to get an edge over your competition, PROJCT GOLF will give you the tools and habits you need to take your game to the next level. Our mission is to change the way golfers view their game and their body. Breaking it down into different projects, working to improve upon or create something new. Our goal is to make you a better golfer, but also give you more energy and strength to do the things you want to do when you want to do them. It’s about building a lifestyle, a body and a golf swing that can be repeated.
Our focus for all our golfers is to help them build a strong foundation by creating ownership and control over their body. Teaching and educating so they have better awareness and understanding of what their body is capable of. Training more efficient movement patterns that will help them create a more repeatable and consistent golf swing. Once you have more awareness of what you are capable of, it becomes a lot easier to get the results you are looking for.
That sounds awesome, so where do I start? We start all our golfers off with a movement assessment. See details below. After the assessment we have different In-person and Remote training packages for our athletes.
PROJCT Golf Movement Assessment
- 90 min in length
- Mobility, Stability and Power Assessments to see where you may be restricted in your movement and how that will directly effect your golf swing.
- Swing analysis. We have a hitting bay in studio where we will get you to hit a few ball to get an idea of how your movement may be impacting your swing.
- Run through of exercises to give you a better understanding of the body/swing connection.
- At home Foundations Program to help you create more awareness and build a solid foundation for your body and golf swing
